Wedding Rings – Fifth Time’s a Charm
According to the report in the Daily Mail, a couple from Milton Keynes decided to get hitched five separate times in five separate locations which, of course, meant exchanging wedding rings five times. The reason that Ryan Feeney and Simone Harris decided on this unusual step was in order to allow family members in various parts of the world to be part of their celebrations by flying to all corners of globe and having five ceremonies. Fortunately for Mr Feeney, however, he didn’t have to buy five separate wedding rings as the made use of the original one on each occasion.
Wedding Rings – A Grand Adventure
Few people expected to get married more than once let alone five times; fewer still would expect to get married to the same person 5 times but, according to the report in the Daily Mail, that’s exactly what Buckinghamshire couple, Ryan Feeney and Simone Harris, did. The wedding rings for this couple certainly clocked up some mileage as the various ceremonies took place in Las Vegas, Turkey, Florida, Milton Keynes and Australia. The wedding rings used for each ceremony were the same and the couple’s whirlwind adventure was largely funded by the relatives that they were visiting in each country. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Mr Feeney stated, “We both loved our proper wedding ceremony in Vegas but the one drawback was that our family missed out on being there. As we are both only children we didn't want to deny our parents the chance to celebrate our wedding day. It would have been too expensive to get all members of our family in one place, so we decided to take the ceremony to them instead.”
Wedding Rings – A Family Affair
According to the report in the Daily Mail, Mr. Feeney’s decision to have a series of jet set wedding ceremonies was fuelled by a desire for the couple’s families to experience their matrimony. Despite paying for the wedding rings and flights, the couple managed to arrange for various family members to help with the costs of the ceremonies themselves. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Mr Feeney stated, “We had a great time and it means we can just turn up and enjoy the ceremony again, as each service is largely being organised by each relative we are visiting.”
