Wedding rings – in the doghouse
Wedding rings now often cost as much as 3 months salary, so, when a beloved pet decides to devour a wedding ring, it certainly calls for some time in the doghouse. Well, according to the report in the Mirror, that’s exactly what happened with Max, the cocker spaniel, and his owner Bill Christie, 60.
Wedding Rings – Anniversary to Remember
When your wedding rings have lasted 40 years of marriage, it comes as a bit of a shock when your beloved pet decides to scoff it down; on your 40th wedding anniversary no less. According to the report in the Mirror, Max, the cocker spaniel was able to enjoy the wedding rings flavoured meal after the bounding canine knocked the rings off a bedside cabinet and then promptly proceeding to devour them. Speaking to the Mirror, the dog’s owner, Bill Christie, stated, “He's a crazy, lovely dog but he chews everything and is always in trouble.” Eating wedding rings is not likely to ingratiate Max to his owner but his scampish nature appears to have convinced Mr Christie not to be too mad at his wedding ring chomping canine.
Wedding Rings – Getting Away With It
Whilst Max, the cocker spaniel, thought he may have committed the perfect crime and gotten away with eating the wedding rings of his owner, an x-ray at the local vets caught the mischievous pup red pawed. According to the Mirror, the patient dog lover had to wait for nature to take its course before being reunited with his wedding rings. Speaking to the Mirror, Mr Christie stated, “The main thing is that Max is fine - and the wedding rings have cleaned up good as new.”
