Suspicious glances may have been cast in the direction of Micky Mouse and Daffy Duck when a pair of wedding rings went missing at the Disney World resort. According to the report on ABC News report, the pair of holidaymakers from Massachusetts, Paul and Karen Campanale, were distraught to discover their wedding rings missing as they were about to leave the resort.
 

Wedding Rings – Taking Out the Trash

As it turned out, Micky Mouse wasn’t the criminal mind behind the disappearance of the pair’s wedding rings. According to the report on ABC News, it turns out that the couple accidently threw out their wedding rings when they were tidying up their guest suite prior to their departure. The couple were initially told that there was no chance that their wedding rings could be retrieved as they were now in the trash disposal system and en-route to a vast garbage compactor. As such, the pair began their journey back to Massachusetts without their treasured wedding rings.
 

Wedding Rings – A Fairytale Ending

According to the report on ABC News, just when it appeared that all hopes for the return of the wedding rings had been lost, news filtered through that a pair of Disney World employees had gone considerably above and beyond the call of duty. Not content to let the wedding rings be consigned to the rubbish tip, the Disney World employees rifled through a mountain of garbage and, miraculously, managed to locate the pair of errant wedding rings. According to the report on ABC News, the knights in shining armour for the Campanale’s was executive housekeeper, Drew Weaver, who was ably assisted by 7 of his Disney World co-workers. Ultimately, the pair’s wedding rings were found and the fairytale was complete.
