According to a report in the Mirror, Chelsea and England international footballer, Ashley Cole, has hatched a plan involving wedding rings in order to win back his bride, Cheryl Tweedy, after the football played away from home but not in a football sense. After seeing the reports that Cheryl Tweedy was seen about town without wearing her wedding ring, the football star, Ashley Cole, decided to take matters into his own hands by offering to buy a new, and significantly more expensive wedding ring, as an olive branch for cheating on his bride.

According to the report in the Mirror, football star, Ashley Cole, plans to offer Cheryl Tweedy a choice of wedding rings that are twice as expensive as her original. As the first wedding ring, which Tweedy claims to have removed as it was too small, cost in excess of £80,000, it is a sign of affection on the footballer’s part which will cause a sizeable dent in the player’s wallet. Speaking to the Mirror, a source close to the couple stated, “Ashley is crushed every time Cheryl refuses to wear the wedding ring. He is desperate for them to move on and is keen to make her happy. He wants to buy a new wedding ring, twice as blinging, and will easily spend £160,000.”

The change doesn’t just revolve around new wedding rings, according to the report in the Mirror, as Ashley Cole has vowed to give up his partying lifestyle in order to win back the love of Girls Aloud star, Cheryl Tweedy. Whilst his infidelity is proving difficult for the pop star to forgive, the potential of a spectacular new £160,000 wedding ring adorning her finger may prove too difficult for Tweedy to resist. Speaking to the Mirror, the source close to the pair stated, “He wants Cheryl to have the choice of wearing something new if she can't face wearing the old wedding ring because it brings back bad memories.”
