Wedding Rings - Big Brother’s Fake Wedding Ceremony
Big Brother is known for throwing up twists for its rafts of new contestants each but this year’s series seems to have excelled itself by making two confrontational housemates pretend that they are getting married and even went so far as to have them exchanging wedding rings live on the show in front of the other non-plussed contestants. The wedding rings were provided by the Big Brother producers and the two conspiring parties were told to exchange the platinum wedding rings and convince the other contestants that they were a real couple in order to avoid eviction from the house.
Wedding Rings - Big Bother
Unfortunately, the course of love did not run smoothly for the faux love-birds, despite the exchanging of the two expensive wedding rings. According to a report in The London paper, the two pretending to be a couple, Mario Marconi and Stephanie McMichael, are not entirely sure that their exchanging of wedding rings and proclamations of love has got the other housemates fooled. According to the report in The London Paper, the groom to be, Marconi, asked another housemate, blind Michael Hughes, to be his best man shortly after exchanging wedding rings with his less than enamoured bride to be; who continually airs her chagrin at having to pretend to happy all the time during frequent trips to the Big Brother diary room.
Wedding Rings - There May be Trouble Ahead
The exchanging of wedding rings proved to be a very awkward occasion as Marconi’s real life girlfriend, Lisa Appleton, is in the house as well which has created tension that is palpable at times at which threatens to derail Big Brother’s dastardly plot. The wedding rings may not have proved sufficient to convince the other housemates of the pairs impending nuptials and a number of them have suggested that the pair could be involved in a secret task that provides them with immunity.
